Veteran’s Assistance
Because Service Should Always Be Honored.
Honoring those that serve
At 1019 Senior Living, we believe that those who served our country, and those who stood beside them, deserve dignity, support, and care. This page is dedicated to them.
Care Regardless of Eligibility
For veterans and surviving spouses exploring assisted living in Indiana or memory care options in Ohio, our program is designed to make quality care accessible, even for those who do not qualify for VA Aid and Attendance.
A Path Forward for Every Family
Eligibility requirements do not always reflect the reality of what a family needs. If you have explored every option and still come up empty, we created this program for you.
Service Is Something We Honor
At 1019, we do not measure what someone served or whether a form came back approved. We simply believe that service deserves to be honored, and we built a program around that belief.
Support Beyond Eligibility
Programs like VA Aid and Attendance can make a meaningful difference for veterans and their spouses. But many individuals who served, or stood beside someone who did, do not meet strict eligibility requirements. At 1019, we are introducing a program across our communities designed to extend support to veterans who may not qualify for VA benefits, surviving spouses who fall outside eligibility guidelines, and families who have been told no but still need care.
Who This Program Reaches
The need for care, dignity, and support does not disappear because an eligibility form came back denied. This program exists for veterans, surviving spouses, and families who have done everything right and still cannot find a clear path to quality, affordable care.
What This Looks Like in Practice
Each 1019 community dedicates a limited number of spots to help offset the cost of assisted living or memory care, provide access to safe and supportive environments, and ensure dignity and quality of life regardless of benefit eligibility. This is not a replacement for VA programs. It is a bridge for those who fall through the gaps.
Wall of Honor
Every veteran has a story worth telling. Our Wall of Honor is a place to celebrate the lives and legacies of those who served, and the families who supported them. Share a name, a story, and a photo. Let their memory live here.
Add a Name
Honor Them Here.
Every veteran has a story worth telling. This is your space to share it. Whether it is a single memory, a lifetime of service, or simply a name and a photo, every tribute added to the Wall of Honor keeps their legacy alive.
It only takes a few minutes. And it lasts forever.
Residents are our North Star. Moments Matter.
