1019 Senior Living, a family-owned and operated company rooted in loyalty, respect, and integrity, is proud to announce the acquisition and management of two new memory care communities in Wabash, Indiana and Crawfordsville, Indiana. 1019 Belle’s Place of Wabash, a 28-apartment community, and 1019 Belle’s Place of Crawfordsville, a 28-apartment community, will continue the company’s mission to provide enriching, individualized care for residents, families, and team members, where every moment matters.
As part of 1019 Senior Living’s continued focus on senior living in the Midwest, the new 1019 Belle’s Place communities will offer specialized memory care, inspired by the resilience and creativity of Belle, the grandmother of the founder. Belle’s passion for life, and her career as an artist, even in the face of dementia, serves as a guiding inspiration for the company’s personalized approach to memory care, emphasizing compassion, respect, and the celebration of each resident’s unique story, talents, and passions.
“1019 Belle’s Place communities are more than just memory care communities; they are places where every individual is honored and valued, and their life stories are celebrated,” said Heather Kesler, Co-Founder and CEO of 1019 Senior Living. “We are excited to bring our family’s vision of memory care to Wabash and Crawfordsville, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care in a warm and supportive environment.”
Dementia training remains central to the company’s care philosophy. All 1019 Senior Living team members receive Certified Dementia Practitioner training, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering expert, compassionate care for residents living with dementia.
Founders James and Heather Kesler built 1019 Senior Living as a reflection of their deep commitment to family and service. The name 1019 marks their wedding anniversary—a symbol of their lasting dedication. Today, their children, Zoe and Sam, are actively involved in the daily operations, ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention and care in alignment with the company’s core values.
“We are a family serving families,” said James Kesler, Co-Founder and CFO of 1019 Senior Living. “Our approach is rooted in generations of love and commitment, and we are honored to expand that legacy into these new communities.”
With the addition of the 1019 Belle’s Place communities in Wabash and Crawfordsville, 1019 Senior Living continues its mission of creating environments where residents can thrive, their unique needs are met, and their lives are enriched through meaningful interactions and experiences.
