Jane Fishburn

Jane Fishburn has always been someone people could count on. Whether at work, at home, or among family and friends, she built a life centered on caring for others, staying organized, and making sure the people she loved were taken care of.

For nearly 50 years, Jane worked in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and data entry. She took pride in doing her work well, staying organized, and finishing each task on time. Her dedication and leadership led her to supervise more than 20 employees throughout her career. When asked how coworkers might describe her, it was simply, Jane is easy to work with.

Family has always been at the center of Jane's world. Her husband, Ken, daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are among the people she treasures most. Some of her favorite memories include family vacations and gathering together for special occasions. One of the moments that shaped her life most was marrying Ken, a decision she still points to as one of life's greatest blessings.

Jane enjoys the simple things that make a house feel like home. She loves sewing, needlepoint, reading, playing the piano, and listening to oldies and gospel music. Family members share that she always took great care of her husband and even made sure the family porch goose was dressed appropriately for every season and celebration. It's a small detail, but one that perfectly reflects Jane's thoughtful nature and attention to the things that make life special.

Friends know Jane as someone who enjoys conversation, is willing to help, and can always be counted on to get things done. An organizer by nature, she has spent much of her life quietly serving others without asking for recognition.

Today, Jane continues to find comfort in the things she has always loved most: family visits, old music, sewing, playing the piano, and spending time with Ken. Her daughter remains closely involved in her life, helping keep family traditions alive and those important connections close.

It's the same thoughtful spirit that once kept the family porch goose dressed for every occasion and continues to make Jane who she is today.
