Jim is a hardworking, kind, and devoted family man who loves mechanics, classic cars, tractors, racing, and helping others.

Some people are known for what they do. Others are remembered for who they are. For Jim Crouch, the two go hand in hand.
Jim has spent a lifetime working with his hands, solving problems, and fixing things that others thought couldn't be fixed. For more than 40 years, he worked for R.R. Donnelley, building a reputation for reliability, dedication, and a work ethic that never wavered. Family members proudly share that Jim was the kind of employee who never called in and always showed up ready to work.
His love for mechanics and machinery didn't stop when the workday ended. Cars, trucks, tractors, boats, airplanes—if it had an engine, it likely captured Jim's attention. He restored antique tractors, worked on vehicles in his garage, raced cars, and collected stories from a lifetime spent around engines and horsepower. One of his prized possessions was a 1966 Chevy Nova that he purchased in 1989 and painstakingly rebuilt. Family members still love sharing stories about his drag racing days and the adventures that came with them.
But beneath the grease, tools, and engines was a devoted family man. Jim and his wife, Pam, shared a love story that began when they were just teenagers. They started dating at ages 15 and 19, married in 1966, and built a beautiful life together. Their daughter, Angie, grandchildren Josh, Hannah, and Cameron, and a growing family of great-grandchildren continue to be among the most important people in his life.
Jim enjoys the simple things too—70s pop and country music, pizza, meatloaf, talking about old cars, and reminiscing about the stories and experiences that shaped his life. When conversation turns to engines, racing, tractors, or the good old days, his eyes light up.
If you ask those who know Jim best what makes him special, the answer comes quickly: he is the person people call when something needs to be fixed. Not just because he knows how to repair things, but because he genuinely wants to help. Family describes him as kind, generous, and someone who would do anything for the people he loves.
