Nellie is a grounded, thoughtful, and down-to-earth woman who finds peace in wide-open spaces, simple comforts, and her Texas ranch roots.

Some places stay with you forever. For Nellie, it seems the feeling of open skies, fresh air, and wide stretches of land has always felt like home.

Growing up on a ranch in Texas, Nellie learned to appreciate both hard work and life’s simple pleasures. She later spent many years working as a clerk for a judge. It was steady, dependable work that reflected her thoughtful and grounded nature.

Nellie finds joy in familiar comforts and favorite traditions: a plate of beans and cornbread, gospel music, a good Neil Diamond song, cheering on TCU basketball and the Cowboys, and settling in to watch Heartland. She appreciates the little things too like a cold Diet Coke and a nap on the comfort of satin pillowcases.

When Nellie talks about happiness, her heart seems to drift back to the mountains, where fresh air fills her lungs and untamed land stretches wide around her. There is something peaceful there that speaks to her spirit and is quiet, beautiful, and deeply grounding.

Nellie reminds us that peace can be found in the comfort of wide open spaces.
