Located on North Main Street in Dayton, Ohio, The Cottages is designed to feel like home from the very first visit. Warm, welcoming, and built with care, our community is a place where residents feel known and families feel at peace.

What's Around Us

Dayton, Ohio is known as the birthplace of aviation, with world-class museums, beautiful parks, and a strong sense of history. There is no shortage of places nearby to enjoy an afternoon.

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE U.S. 
AIR FORCE

The oldest and largest military aviation museum in the world, with more than 360 aircraft and missiles on display, free to visit. It is an awe-inspiring outing, and a meaningful one for the veterans and families we serve.

CARILLON HISTORICAL PARK

A 65-acre open-air museum where visitors journey through Dayton's history and inventions, home to the Wright brothers' 1905 Wright Flyer III. Its 151-foot Deeds Carillon bell tower is the largest in Ohio. It is a wonderful place to wander and reflect.

dayton art institute

A grand institution housing a diverse collection of art spanning thousands of years, from ancient to contemporary. It is a calm, enriching way to spend a morning at your own pace.

Cox arboretum

One of the jewels of Dayton's Five Rivers MetroParks, Cox Arboretum offers a morning in nature amid stunning outdoor settings. It is a peaceful escape, perfect for an unhurried visit.

We believe time with loved ones should feel natural, flexible, and always encouraged. At The Cottages, visitation is welcome seven days a week with no set visiting hours. Families and friends are encouraged to visit at times that work best for them and their loved one.
